Windows 10: Zoom slider on Microsoft keyboard not functioning with windows 11

My Microsoft keyboard has a useful zoom slider in the middle of it that used to work with windows 10. My new windows 11 computer does not respond to that slider, but it does zoom if I use the zoom feature in settings. Is there a fix?

To get control of your custom keyboard shortcut back from Zoom, you can follow these steps:

Step 1: Disable the Keyboard Shortcut in Zoom

1. Open Zoom and sign in to your account.
   
2. Click on your profile picture and select Settings.
   
3. Navigate to Keyboard Shortcuts.
   
4. Find the shortcut for Ctrl+Alt+C and disable it or reassign it to a different key combination.
   

Step 2: Reassign the Keyboard Shortcut in Word 365

1. Open Microsoft Word.
   
2. Click on File in the top-left corner and then select Options.
   
3. In the Word Options window, click on Customize Ribbon.
   
4. Under the "Customize the Ribbon and keyboard shortcuts" section, click the Customize button for "Keyboard shortcuts".

I suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.

• If you have a mouse with a wheel, hold down the Ctrl key, and then scroll the wheel to zoom in or out.
• From the keyboard, you can increase or decrease the zoom value in 10% increments. To zoom in, press Ctrl + (+). To zoom out, press Ctrl + (-). To restore the zoom to 100%, press Ctrl+0.
