Zoom Workplace keyboard shortcut overrides custom Word 365 shortcut

My Zoom app recently updated to the new "Zoom Workplace" version, which comes with a facility to create and share "clips". There is a keyboard shortcut built in Ctrl+Alt+C that opens that window even when Zoom is closed. Unfortunately it is a keyboard shortcut that I had set up for use in Word and it's one that I use *all the time* :- I have disabled the clips feature in Zoom, but that keyboard shortcut now seems to have been irrevocably allocated to that function, so when I type it in Word, nothing happens, and I can't allocate it to the function I had allocated it to any more. I've set up

    :)

  2. Surface Pro keyboard shortcut needed

Thank you, but your reply was only partially helpful. I use Office 365, and heavily use Excel.

The customize keyboard shortcuts appears to be available in WORD, but not in Excel, where I need it.

How do I customize keyboard shortcuts in Excel?

    Thank you again for trying.

    List custom keyboard shortcuts

    Hi,

I would like to create a shortcut to Windows Update using CTRL-ALT-U, but when I try to put that in the shortcut key area of the shortcut, it blanks out again. This means I have used that key combo elsewhere, but typing it doesn't do anything. I upgraded
from Win7 to Win10 and I think I set it for Windows 7 Update.

    My questions are,

    1. How do I reassign this shortcut?
    2. How do I get a list of custom shortcuts that are already set?

    Thanks!

Windows Shortcuts for Word are not Working

HI, I am Dave, I will help you with this.

Open Word, then go to File - Options - Customize Ribbon

Beside Keyboard Shortcuts, click the Customize button and then click Reset All.

Then, restart Word and check if those keyboard shortcuts are working for you.
