Windows 10: zunetune update and error message

my zune had finally died after a few years so i bought a new one, a zunetune. unbeknowest to me, microsoft discontinued the zune updates. i've reinstalled zune software to it's more updated form, i have searched through countless articles on how to update my zunetune so i can actually sync music to it. the articles i have read have talked about firmware, that when i went to go download them, was warned by my computer that those files might have viruses in the system so i don't really want to go near those downloads.

i'm still receiving this message:

there was an error while trying to update your device with the latest software. please try again.

C00D133C (80190194)


according to the microsoft webpage, every single time i have tried this, i get an error 404 page not found result. even when going through the articles i get the same result or answers that can't help me.

please assist because i really don't want to think i've wasted my money on getting a player i prefer over an ipod.

Windows Update Error Message 0x80070543


Ya Ya Ya, there's over a hundred threads like this, ...

Anyway, started getting this error message a few days ago, and done a lot of searching on this error message, apparently it's not, uncommon.

In particular, the (currently) 4 updates that are being affected are:

• Update for Windows 10 Version 1511 (KB3173428) - Error 0x80070543
• Security Update for Windows 10 Version 1511 (KB3172729) - Error 0x80070543
• Security Update for Adobe Flash Player for Windows 10 Version 1511 (KB3174060) - Error 0x80070543
• Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1511 (KB3176493) - Error 0x80070543

The actions I've taken to date are:

• Uninstalled firewall program (comodo)
• Uninstalled anti-virus (Avast)
• Reset the windows update catalog on local machine.

So the above errors are with the above done.

What other steps should I be taking to resolve the issue?

• Attempted to use the troubleshooter, no dice.

^ what they said will both work. i suggest updating directX, and in the future please try and list the exact error message... and i want a muffin.
