    I can't for the life of me figure out how to scan in multiple pages on a document.

    I have tried and googled it but to no avail.

    Each time I scan with this new Windows 10 it says NEW SCAN ?

    On the old version their was a small + at the bottom of the screen if you wanted to scan

    multiple pages.

    Very frustrating and confusing and waste of time trying to figure this out.

    Have read multiple people complaining of the same issue.

    It's like they have made it tougher to scan more than 1 page and the option for the PDF is now gone as well.

    Instead of improving a product its gotten less user friendly and has caused alot of confusion with all users.

    Any advice besides switching to a new scan program? OR I guess I can switch...

    Thank you for your reply.

    When I searched for "Windows Fax and Scan" (#1) I get a box to "install Windows Scan". When I select thatr it tell me that the program is already installed and I opened it.

    I actioned step #2and #3 and the first page was scanned.

    Re step #4 - there was no option on the toolbar to select "New Scan".

    re the HP Solutions Center - I tried it again, and it worked. Not sure why the program didn't launch the first time(s) I launched it, but it did now.

    I would still like to be able to use the Windows Scan app. Any other suggestions? Perhaps I did not select the correct app from the search. Could you forward a link?

    Hi Sandy,

    I realize the inconvenience you are experiencing with scanning and fax issues on Windows 10. I will certainly help you.

    This issue might occur if printer driver is corrupt.

    To assist you better, please provide us the information below:

    • What is the make and model of the computer?
    • Are you getting any error message?
    • When you say that "scan and fax not working", how exactly are you trying to scan and fax on Windows 10?

    If you have tried to use Windows Scan and Fax app, then try to access it and check if you are able to scan documents.

    1. Click on Search bar.

    2. The type "Windows Fax and Scan" without the quotes in the search bar and click on it.

    3. Try to scan the copies of documents.

    Also I suggest you to refer to the steps provided in the below Microsoft Help Article about troubleshooting steps related to printer issues and check if it helps.
