Windows 10: BSOD and unable to boot normally to Windows 10

Hello,

I have recently run into some critical issues with my PC. I did also recently try overclocking my CPU and ran Intel burn tests and each time it said it was stable. A few days ago I started getting BSOD with the IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL error. Here is the dump from one of the BSOD.

I was able to read the dump file with the debugger windows tools that ZigZag3143 posted and it pointed to ntkrnlmp.exe as the issue. Several posts mentioned that it was driver related and so I used ZigZag3143 verify driver guide and when I rebooted I also reverted from my overclock. But now I can only boot into safe mode. Automatic repair doesn't work, all of my system restores fail, both DISM and SFC return healthy. The only thing I can think of is some software if causing some major havoc but I don't know how I can fix it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Please let me know if you need any other log files or such. Thank you

ughhh! BSOD on boot

I guess my computer BSOD on boot right before getting to windows. not sure what the problem is though, everything is stable.

It gave me a list of two files in windows that could have caused the problems

I suggest you check if you are able to boot into Windows Recovery Environment using installation media. Follow the steps provided below and check.

• • Insert the installation USB and boot Windows 10 from it.
  • In the ‘Windows setup’ page select the ‘language to install’, ‘Time and currency format’ and the ‘keyboard or input method’ and click on ‘next’.
  • Click on ‘Repair your computer’ and select ‘Troubleshoot’.

Check if you are able to boot to this window. If you are unable to boot to this window, I suggest you to contact the manufacturer and check.

Windows 10 USB boot

Hi there, am not a windows 10 expert. I have a pc in the bedroom on windows 10, I messed up the bootloader trying to fix the xp on that system.

System wont boot, trying to repair via win 10 usb installer.

Downloaded the media creation tool to install windows 10 installer on usb stick. Not compatible with a host of usb sticks I have. Tried the usb sticks that others use, but I think they use rufus; as the media creation tool by win 10 does not detect the usb stick.

So quick question, the win10 machine i am trying to repair the bootloader is a win7 upgraded to win10.
If i were to use the usb win10 installer to "repair installation" does the version of the iso downloaded via the media creation tool matter?

There is three options:
Windows 10
Windows 10 Home
Windows 10 N

Also is there a step by step instead of using rufus as I want to try an alternative method of creating a usb win 10 installer. Preferably with more compatibility.

System is a asus sabertooth 990 (r2?) with AMD phenom X 6.

Also is there any other software I can load onto the usb that can repair the bootloader easily?
That would be the ideal alternative. Thanks
