Windows 10: Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1809 for x64-based Systems (KB4497934) -Error...

Hi,


I've been trying to perform a Windows update but I'm getting the following message:


"There were problems installing some updates, but we'll try again later.


2019-05 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1809 for x64-based Systems (KB4505056) -Error 0x80070246"



I've ran the troubleshooting tool and got the following:


"Troubleshooting couldn't identify the problem."



I've also tried to do an SFC /scannow:


"C:\WINDOWS\system32>SFC /scannow

Beginning system scan. This process will take some time.

Beginning verification phase of system scan.
Verification 100% complete.

Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations.

C:\WINDOWS\system32>"



The problem still persists and I'm being unable to install the latest cumulative update for Windows.

Cumulative Update for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3156387) will not install

Anyone else having problems getting the Cumulative Update for Windows 10 for x64-based Systems (KB3156387) installed? This update has been failing for me & doing a failed to update after downloading & reboot, then rebooting & removing the update.

V 10.0 build 10240

Maybe try with the Windows update mini-tool, found here http://www.techpowerup.com/forums/t...dows-10-automatic-updates-and-spyware.218745/ , thanks to Mussels. it installed perfectly for me last night.

When I try to integrate it into my Win10 x64 1809 WDS WIM with DISM I get an error the update's Unattend.xml wouldn't be compatible. If I try to add the CAB to the WIM with DISM I get an error Version mismatch! Weird, the Windows Server 2019 and Windows
10 x64 1809 cumulative updates have the same size. Perhaps they're the same by mistake while publishing them???

Updating clients running Windows 10 1809 x64 via WSUS or online is woking flawlessly!
