Step 3. Type: net stop wuaserv and press the Enter key


WUASERV IS SPELT WRONG IT SHOULD BE: "WUAUSERV" the second "U" is missing, when I just copy and pasted these it could not find the fill until I noted the spelling mistake.


I hope this is corrected ASAP

Stuck on build 10041

So, A long time ago back on build 10041 I installed tech preview on my laptop. today I came back to this laptop haven't used it since

and I an unable to update from 10041 I am just getting a error(0x8024044a) when updating

I suggest you to run the Windows Update troubleshooter and check if it helps.

Stuck in Build 10041

I have been stuck in Build 10041 for about a month. I can’t install build 10074, it goes to about 95 percent of install and then fails and the reverts back to 10041 The entire process takes about 3 hours is it possible to skip that build and installed
a newer build?
