Two computers both displaying similar problems after the latest update.

    Hi,

My wife has a computer that she is using mainly for browsing the internet, emailing and bill paying.

Up until very recently it was working fine.

Now it has started having a lot of issues.

    It will not load.

If I do a repair -reset-reload windows keeping her settings , it works fine at the end of the reload.

If you turn it off after the reload of windows 10 it will not restart properly.

As it attempts to load the first picture screen that comes up is out of focus.

It then gets past that and gets to a clear picture of a lake but goes no further.

If you move the mouse the screen goes black except for the mouse icon.

Nothing I can do will get it to load again.

The only way to do anything with the computer is to do the whole repair process again (several hours)

My computer which I use mainly for gaming (DCS on SteamVR) and web browsing has similar problems.

My computer was running well up until last week.

Both of the games DCS and SteamVR stopped loading.

DCS logs me in and starts loading and then encounters a Runtime error and stops.

SteamVR logs me in and starts loading and then simply disappears.

I had black screen flashes while on the net at the beginning of this problem.

The opening screen as I load my computer is out of focus in exactly the same way as my wife's computer.

I have done a repair -reset - reload of windows 10 on my machine and it has got rid of the blackscreen flashes but the other problems are the same.

Our computers are quite different to each other.

Mine is an i5 4670 on an Asrock Z87 pro4 board with an MSI 2070 gpu .

My wifes computer is an AMD chip on a Gigabyte board.

All drivers are as up to date as they can be.

The 2070 is the only one that the manufacturers are putting out new updates for.

    Anyone got any ideas.

    :)
