Windows 10: Asus ROG Strix Scar ii (Windows 10)

I bought this laptop about 4-5 weeks ago and have been using it since- I love it!

But one problem has come up in the last week here, a battery problem. It wasn't too bad of a hassle at first- I would get a notification mid-game that said it had switched to battery (when plugged in) and switched back not a second later. for the first couple of days it would just switch back and forth like that, maybe every couple of minutes. The next few days it had gotten worse- saying on battery 2 times a minute, and it staying on battery for sometimes up to 10 seconds. By this point it was very irritating. The worst part is about 2 days ago it went KAPUT and I hadn't even known it switched to battery (no notification that it had) and mine laptop told me it only had 10% battery left. I spent a solid 10 minutes trying to figure out what had happened, maybe it wasn't plugged in all the way (it was). The laptop died and it wasn't charging at all. I spent the last 2 days away from my laptop, and came back today. I figured what the heck maybe it'll charge, and what do ya know, I'm typing up this message here.

If anyone has a clue what could be causing this problem (which has already started happening again when I opened a game) please let me know so I can try to fix it. I really don't want to have to buy a new charger or take the time to send it in to get it fixed.

Not MSI, I use Asus ROG Strix Scar II GL504 bro

 

Win 7 won't install on my ASUS Strix GL753VE

Is this what you have:

ROG GL753VE Driver & Tools | Laptops | ASUS USA

ROG Strix GL753 comes with Windows 10 pre-installed and features a 7th-

If so, ASUS supports Windows 10 on that machine, not Windows 7.

And they don't supply Windows 7 Drivers for that model
