Windows 10: Typing "Remind me" no longer works

When I click the cortana icon, and type "Remind me", or any phrase such as "remind me to do whatever at this time or when I get to place", no longer works. In fact, it's probably been a while since this has worked for me.


Instead, the cortana icon is only working exclusively as search. I can still use voice to create reminders, but I've found it in the past just as fast if not faster to type my reminders rather than speak them. Plus, I'm at the office so I'd rather not speak my reminders out loud.


I'm on version 1803 build 17134.885

Alarm, calendar and cortana reminders don't work!

Hi,

Do any reminders work such as people reminders of longer time reminders?

What is set under "Open Settings. Select Time& language,
and then Region & Language"?

For now follow the below steps:

• 
  Open Command Prompt.
  
• 
  Select “Run as Administrator”.
  
• 
  Type “sfc /scannow” without quotes and hit
  Enter.
  

 

Windows 10 Pro and Ergnomic Break Reminder

Do you remember installing any break reminder software?



It looks like it is a pop up from a break reminder software.



I suggest you to look for this in Programs in features and uninstall it if do not use it.



Try the following steps:

• 
  Press Windows + R keys to open Run Command
  
• 
  Type Appwiz.cpl and hit enter
  
• 
  Search for the programs and un-install it.

  Reminders on your phone or click Notebook and select
  Reminders on your Windows 10 PC.
• You'll find all your reminders sorted by date, click on it and modify according to your preference.
