Windows 10: frozen task bar

I can't access/see the task bar (that runs along the bottom of my windows screen) and therefore launch anything from it - including settings, applications, etc.

my task bar is frozen.

Since the windows 10 latest upgrade in 2017 my task bar is frozen. I have tried all of the suggestions from the 2015 posts. None of them worked.

Just one problem, the first instruction to perform the clean boot is, "From Start, search for
msconfig."

I can't see how to get "Start" up because the task bar is frozen.

I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if the issue persists.

• Right click on the Task Bar.
• Uncheck the option " Lock the Taskbar."
