Windows 10: smedcoates

Discus and support smedcoates in Windows 10 Drivers and Hardware to solve the problem; Hi I reset my hp Elitebook to partial settings last night ,Since then i have no sound and my speaker icon has a red x on it, I have updated the driver...     Hi

    I reset my hp Elitebook to partial settings last night ,Since then i have no sound and my speaker icon has a red x on it, I have updated the driver etc , I have gone in to settings device manager updated the driver , uninstalled the driver reinstalled and the a search to find any problems to repair but all i keep gettting is

    windows found drivers for your device but encounted an errorwhile attempting to install them.


    IDT High Definition Audio CODEC

    A Device attached to tyhe system is not functioning.

    I have been trying the online assistant but going around in circles with that.

    No sound after resetting HP Elitebook

    I reset my hp Elitebook to partial settings last night ,Since then i have no sound and my speaker icon has a red x on it, I have updated the driver etc , I have gone in to settings device manager updated the driver , uninstalled the driver reinstalled and
