  1. Windows 10 Critical Process Error When Using My HP Stream 32 Bit Computer

I have not been able to receive updates from practically the get go and over time my laptop/notebook has accumulated files that I have been unable to delete. Last month my computer experienced a critical process error died problem and none of the fixes I tried worked. I know that space is the issue. The most recent attempt I made was to download windows to my 16 gig flash drive and attempt to install it. For some reason UEFI won't allow me to install with 32 bit; it says I have errors (in the black and white screen) with \windows\system32\boot\winload.efi , but when I attempt with 64 but, I actually get a lot further, I'm able to get started BUT it comes to a halt when I get to the partitions. I've looked at drive 0 partition 3 windows with a total size of 27.9 GB as a way to install, but I must first free up 9807 MB of space. I have a few of questions:

    1. Why does my attempt at 32 stop with \windows\system32\boot\winload.efi but allow me to go further when selecting 64 bit?

    2. How do I free up disk space when I'm experiencing a BSOD?

    3. If I am able to free up disk space, will I need to install windows?

    Thanks.

    :)

  2. Having trouble with stream from one specific website on my Windows 10 32-bit computer, while able to stream from other websites.

I have the most recent build of Windows 10 Pro on two computers in my home (one for my mother) and one for me. My mother's computer is running Windows 10 Pro 32-bit and my main computer runs 64-bit. After one of the more recent updates, I found that I could
not hear a stream from one of mother's favorite radio stations. Interestingly enough I am able to stream other stations with NO problems. I have tried the stream in other browsers, but still could not hear the stream. I also tried streaming from the station
on my computer and it streamed beautifully. I am wondering if there was a problem with the module updates for the 32-bit system and am currently in the process of using system restore to see if that is the problem. I am at a loss as to what to do, but would
like to get the stream playing because this is my mother's favorite gospel station. I thank you all in advance for any suggestions that you might have.

  3. HP Windows 10 64-bit downgrade to 32-bit.

Instead of just giving you straight bad advice to download and install 32 bit Windows 10, may I ask specifically what are some of the problems you are experiencing with Windows 10 64 bit?

Downgrading to 32 bit Windows 10 might actually make the problem worst. Some modern computers do not support 32 bit Windows. Also, you have 6 GBs of RAM installed, which won't be addressed by 32 bit Windows.

Also, drivers are a critical part of a functioning system and if you don't have those installed, it can adversely affect the stability, performance and functionality of your system.

The first thing I would do is check the manufacturers website for that laptop to find out if they support Windows 10 32 bit.

Next, I would at least backup the factory installation of Windows 10 installed:

The best option you have is to actually create a dual boot configuration, which will automatically activate.

Step 1: Create a partition with enough space. If the hard disk is large, you can either split it or give the lions share to Windows 10 32 bit.

    Press Windows key + X

    Click Disk Management

Right click the System Partition, then click Shrink.

See additional steps for creating a partition in the following article:

    How to: Dual Boot Windows
7 or Windows 8 with Windows 10 Installed First

Next, download the Windows 10 32 bit ISO file:

Download Windows 10 Feature Update ISO Files Directly Using Your Web Browser

Create a bootable copy on a USB thumb drive:

If your computer is UEFI based, these are normally systems that come pre-loaded with Windows 8 or later, you will need to prepare the ISO file for such a configuration or you will receive an error message
during setup. The thumbdrive needs to be formatted as FAT32 and use the GPT partitioning scheme. To do this, you need to use
Rufus, a small tool you can download for free.

    After you have installed Rufus:

    • Launch it
    • Select ISO Image
    • Point to the Windows 10 ISO file
    • Check off Create a bootable disk using
    • Select GPT partitioning for EUFI firmware as the Partition scheme
    • Choose FAT32 NOT NTFS as the File system
    • Make sure your USB thumbdrive in the Device list box
    • Click Start
    • Close when complete

    Connect the USB thumb drive.

Restart your computer, immediately before the HP logo appears, start pressing F9 repeatedly in rapid succession, then select the USB thumb drive to boot from.

Another important part of setup, you might be prompted to a select an edition, make sure you choose the edition that came with your computer, Home or Pro.

Click Custom Advanced then select the partition created earlier to install Windows 10.

  4. Windows 10 Critical Process Error When Using My HP Stream 32 Bit Computer

HP Envy X2 Laptop Critical Process Died in Windows 10

Have a HP Envy X2 laptop with Windows 10. When I power it on it:

    1. Goes into Preparing Automatic Repair state with the HP logo and spinning dots below it.
    2. Then goes into the Blue screen of death stating Critical Process Died.
    3. After about a couple of minutes the HP logo reappears with the spinning dots (but no automatic repair message)
    4. Finally the laptop shuts down.
    5. I attempt to power it on again, then it repeats the previous steps.
So I cannot get into Windows 10. I've tried getting into safe mode but was unsuccessful.

I have the Windows 10 media file on an USB drive. Can someone advise me how do I install a clean copy of Windows during the boot up process? Or at least get into safe mode?
