Windows 10: Computer updated now not working.

Hope someone can help. I hate windows 10. Dont use this computer much & its brand new. Turned it on & its in a “safe mode”. Read all these blogs & it must have been an update that caused this. I finally found my Bitlocker key & its not working. My warranty just expired and i cant get out of blue screen. I want to roll it back before the update but cant get to any place to do it. Im not a computer wiz & this should be this difficult. Its a dell core i3 7th generation. Ive used it about 5 times... should have stuck with a apple products...ugh..


any help would be appreciated..im not even sure where to post this

The tutorials provided are just a list of troubleshooting steps. Use only the steps which apply to you.

Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.

Computer Not Working

It's a laptop and it has a battery so I don't think that will work unless you want me ripping out the battery repeatedly

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.
