Windows 10: Installation of Windows 10

Hello,
I recently decided to factory reset my lenovo thinkpad laptop. I backed up all my important files and other stuff to an external hard-drive, i then proceeded to go to the settings and I made my computer do a clean wipe of my computer deleting all files and starting from scratch.

Windows had uninstalled successfully and then the laptop proceeded to restart to what i assume would be to start installing windows. However instead of meeting a loading screen of some sorts, I get the generic lenovo logo, then it loads into a black screen with nothing on it. I left it like this for a few hours and nothing happened.

I shutdown my laptop and opened up my other computer and started to make a windows 10 installation media on my usb, as i thought it just didn't install windows 10.

I do this and then boot up the laptop and change the boot order to boot from the usb first, I restarted the laptop but nothing changed, I had installed the windows 10 installation media correctly and ejected the usb to avoid any corruption, but nothing came of it.

I tried many different settings in the bios with no progress, I have concluded that the hard-drive of the laptop may be corrupt.

from the start up screen i try to launch the lenovo diagnostics app to see if this is true, but when i do all i get is a black screen.
I have tried messaging a microsoft member about this but no progress was made that i already haven't tried.

Any help would be appreciated.

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

Installing Windows 10 on New PC?

I'm going to be building a new PC on Christmas and want to install Windows 10 on it. I have Windows 10 on my current PC, which I installed upgrading from 8.1 with the files on a USB. How do I go about installing a clean copy of Windows 10 on this new PC? I think I recall something about installing it once makes Microsoft recognize your hardware, but since this will be a PC I'm not sure what steps I need to take. Do I need to go 8.1 -> 10 or is there a method of going directly to 10?
