    What is a role playing game?

    Hi all,
    was just browsing through the list of role playing games available on wikipedia: List of role-playing games - Wikipedia
    to review my next game.
    the list has games i have not even heard of and IGN says diablo 3 is roleplaying game and assassins creed is not.
    I thought any game in which we played the role of some hero like desmond in assassins creed or max in max payne,is a role playing game.
    can you guys please clear my confussion?
    thanks

    Broken: Administrator role

    Unfortunately, there is nothing simple about your computer's problem and therefore there is no 'for dummies' fix. I can explain what likely went wrong, but from there you'll need a professional to help you.

    There are two types of user accounts on a Windows computer: Administrators and Users. An Administrators account has the ability to make changes that affect the entire computer, like installing software. A Users account is only able to make changes that affect
    their own user account. We are supposed to be using a Users account for everyday computer use. You will rarely need to use your Administrators account.

    You have somehow managed to remove your Administrators account. That's why you are unable to properly respond to 'Do you want to make changes to this computer' since that requires that there is an Administrators account. I
    can't image how you did that, but if it's of any comfort: I have done much worse to my computer. You don't want to know.

    There is a way to re-create an Administrators account. It involves a system account called Administrator (without the 's') and it's a not-for-dummies procedure.

    A user account is for users like me and you. A system account is for use by the computer's own software. To distinguish between the Administrators user account and the Administrator
    system account the 's' was dropped off the system account.

    The Administrator (system account) is normally hidden from users because it's not a regular user account and isn't supposed to be used as a regular user account. Instead, its role is to be a lifeline if you are unable to sign in to your computer any other
    way.

    You need to un-hide the Administrator system account, use it to create an Administrators user account, and then hide the Administrator system account. Next you'll need to sign in to your Administrators account so that Windows can set it up for you. Once
    that's done you should sign out of your Administrators account and sign in to your Users account, and that's where you should be doing all your daily computing.

    There are people here who will give you instructions on how to do these things. I am not one of them. If you're brave enough and wise enough to know that you're a 'dummy' with a computer - for now, at least - then you owe it to yourself to have a professional
    get this done right. You know yourself better than anyone, so you can decide how you want to proceed from here.

    Change Administrator role to Standard User role

    Not administrator anymore / User Account Roles issue

    It seems my only user on this PC isn't a administrator even though the role in Control Panel\User Accounts\User Accounts clearly says ;

    <Acount Name>

    <Email>

    Administrator

    Password protected

    When running gpedit.msc it says "Windows cannot find 'gpedit.msc'. and running lusrmgr.msc creatws an Error msg saying that "the snap-in has been restricted by policy. Contact your admin for details."

    Running net user administrator /active:yes in command promtp as admin yeilds "The user could not be found. More help typing NET HELPMSG 2221."

    Running net user in command promtp as admin shows my account;

    Administrator DefaultAccount <My Account Name>

    Guest WDAGUtilityAccount

    The command completed successfully.

    Any help would be appreciated.
