Windows 10: I’m trying to format my usb on a macbook so I can download windows 10 pro 64-bit:

What format type do I use?

Macbook only offers me exFat and Fat32 as options for formatting.

NTFS isn’t available.

If I use Fat 32, will it effect the 64 bit? Does that mean I need to use exFat instead?

I don’t understand any of this really and would like to use my mac to download windows and then put it in my first pc build tomorrow without any issues.

Windows on Macbook Pro using Bootcamp

You need support software (drivers) installed with Boot Camp to use Windows 10. This software is automatically downloaded when you use Boot Camp Assistant. Boot Camp supports 64-bit versions of Windows 10 Home and Windows 10 Pro when used with a supported
Mac. Here are the list that supports Windows 10:

• MacBook Pro (2012 and later)
• MacBook Air (2012 and later)
• MacBook (2015 and later)
• iMac Pro (2017)iMac (2012 and later)
• Mac mini (2012 and later)
• Mac mini Server (Late 2012)
• Mac Pro (Late 2013)

Downloaded a Windows 10 pro 64 bit but turn to a 32 bit Windows 10, Why?

My Window 10 pro 64 bit was upgraded from Windows 8.1 pro 64 bit.

But I would like to clean re-install the Windows 10 pro 64 bit to a new SSD drive.

After I downloaded iso file from Microsoft and try set up to date.

Despite sovled the problem of a bug of Multiprocessor_configuration_not _supported problem. And installed the Windows 10 using quick install option.

The Windows turn to a 32 bit Windows 10 and not a pro version.

What did i missed in the steps?

And how can I fix this problem?

 

32 bit to 64 bit Upgrade of Windows 10 (Macbook Pro)

On a Book Mac Pro (mid 2011) a dual partition exists. OSX 10.10.3 (64 bit) and Windows 8.1 Pro (32 bit)

With the upgrade to Windows 10 in a few days, could it be possible to download and create ISO files of Windows 10 64 bit? Or the system is linked to what version of Windows 8.1 is already installed (i.e. 32 bit)?
