Windows 10: AMD Radeon R4 Graphics driver causing micro freezing

Dell Inspiron 3541.


Apparently back in 2017 there was a thread here in which Microsoft said they were "aware of the problem." Yet here we are in 2019. Since the most recent (November 2019) Windows 10 update, my graphics drivers has been causing lag, micro freezing every 2 seconds, making watching videos impossible, and typing/scrolling difficult


The lag immediately disappears if I uninstall and delete the AMD driver. I have tried doing a clean install of Windows - clearly this is not an issue with my computer but a compatibility issue.


There is no way to contact Dell as my computer is no longer under warranty. I have contacted AMD who pointed the finger at Dell.


Can anyone help?

Mouse and Touchpad lag caused by AMD Radeon R4 Graphics Driver 22.19.677.257

Hi,

This has something to do with a compatibility issue. Having said that you have updated AMD Radeon R4 graphics driver, you can consider updating the driver of the mouse and touchpad. Most of the time, updating driver like that for graphics would conflict/compatibility
with the other so the other would need to be updated as well.

Let us know what happens after updating drivers

 

After recent update in Windows 10 AMD Radeon graphics driver is causing BSOD errors.

Original Title: AMD Radeon driver messed up after latest upgrade

On 1/13/2016 my computer did a forced upgrade. I already had upgraded from windows 8.1 to Windows 10 and you can imagine my distress when I leave the room only to come back to my computer upgrading like it did when I upgraded to windows 10. Well after dealing
with that for 2 hours, when it booted up I got an error message about how a license cannot be found. I also one morning got a message about needing a 32 bit driver or something. I have the AMD RADEON R4 Graphics the processor is the AMD A6-6310 APU with AMD
Radeon R4 Graphics and the system is Windows 10 64-bit. When I right-clicked the little radeon settings icon in my taskbar, I got a BSOD and was told on it that a thread was stuck or something. What can I do to fix this?

According to the auto detect tool from AMD I have the latest driver.

to reset my desk top 4 times in two days cause constants repair loop it caused with the BLACK SCREEN .....
