Windows 10: Win update 2010-01 Changed my USERS target folder to newly created TEMP folder in USERS folder

When the 2020-01 Cum update for Win 10 ver 1909 was installed it added a TEMP file in USERS file and now my system is directed to the TEMP file C:\Users\TEMP\ and not my file that hold all of my data, C:\Users\"My File"\.


I had restored the system to an earlier point in Jan and it was working correctly, pointing to "My file". I then reinstalled the 2010-01 update and the same issue resulted. C:\Users\TEMP\.


The only way I can access my documents is to go through the network and click on "MyFiles".


How do I get my system to point to the right file when it is turned on?

Windows 7 - change user temp folder.

Hi all,
i would like to change user temp folder, becausze i can't install Nero. How to do that? I know how to change Windows temp folder, but not user.

 

Vista Ultimate - 'User' Folder Location

No tried that.

Can copy the entire folder to D; but Windows still points to C as the location. Can change personal folders location to a folder on D;, but this still leaves hidden files etc on C;. Thus meaning there are 2 Users folders. Have managed to change the Public folder location to D;, with some registry tweaks, but this doesnt seem to work for the entire folder.

any more suggestions

Windows 7 when combined with Pismo get’s an incredible feature of creating password protected folders ( *.pfo ) which they call as Private Folders. It is just like any other folder to which you can add any folder and do any operation but not password protections just comes out of the box in Windows 7.
