    So has Internet games Backgammon,Checkers and Spades came to an end?


    Keep getting error code 0x80041004 "A network error occurred while communicating with the game server"

    Seems like the problem occurred after EOL of Windows 7 and newest update to Windows 10, would be nice if someone from Microsoft would address this and let us know either how to restore it or is it dead ?

    My face book post today: Windows 10 warning: Recently my computer started rebooting and installing Windows 10 (I think I was given the option to NOT install and misread). Regardless, my computer had
    started installing Windows 10 and that I know of, I had no longer had a choice in the matter. Windows 10 DOES NOT have internet spades and backgammon which I dearly miss!!! Si if you enjoy those games, stay away from Windows 10 as long as possible!!!

    There are no spades games in the Windows 10 Store comparable to Internet Spades offered in the earlier operating systems. It is a shame that Microsoft saw fit to discontinue such a popular game. They discontinued Backgammon as well....another very popular
    game. I know Microsoft had a lot of trouble with their servers and Internet Spades and Backgammon kept having problems. But in spite of that they were still very popular. Why did Microsoft do away with these two games? I for one enjoyed them and miss them
    a lot and wish they would bring them back.
