Windows 10: typing in japanese with a french physical keyboard

I downloaded the Japanese language and I'd like to know how to convert what I write in French to Japanese in Kanji, Hiragana or Katakana (honestly i don't get the difference bewteen the three)

French Kbd for Japanese

I write in Japanese using a French keyboard.

With Windows 8 I could configure my French AZERTY keyboard to type in Japanese.

With Windows 10 I have only 2 hard Keyboard options: US keyboard of Japanese Keyboard!

I need my French Keyboard

Hi, me too, indeed, I also would like to use my French physical keyboard to write in Japanese, but as you exactly showed above, there is no way to choose any other physical layout than jp or en.

Microsoft team, any solution for this ? It was working perfectly on windows 7...

Your support will be welcome and appreciated - not everybody in the world is English or American, you know ;-)

 

French Kbd for Japanese

1. Language packs: I am coming from Windows 8, and I had all needed language pack to use French and Japanese on my computer.
These packs have been updated, there is no available language pack for Windows 10 that I can download now, they are up to date, I think.

2. The Windows 10 Language Interface Packs there
is not Japanese in this pack, probably because Japanese is already installed.

3. Change your language or keyboard: I am happy with my AZERTY keyboard! As for language, I have 2 language
installed, French and Japanese, and also English.

For most language, you can change the "Keyboard layout", with whatever hardware keyboard you have; I can do that for the English or French language, I could use American, British, Canadian, Belgian, Australian, etc., keyboard.

But for Japanese I have ONLY 2 OPTIONS:

Option one: English keyboard (101/102 key)

Option two: Japanese keyboard (106/109 key)

None of those 2 options are satisfying: I need a FRENCH KEYBOARD OPTION !
