How to limit my network shares to me only?

So my kids are getting older, and i have a metric ton of important data i need to protect as much as possible. On the other side, i need the convenience of having it shared on the network.

I use drives from all 3 of my pc's shared so i can access them from one another, and sometimes mount drives on my shieldtv units to game off of etc.

I see you can limit the number of users but this doesnt really do me any good/have an application for my case. I also see the permissions which is obviously more what im after.

I just dont know what group to set it to? Nobody needs to see anything on the network but me, however I dont think thats possible - especially when i often want to be able to access/connect from other non pc' devices.

    How would this work?

I cant set Administrators group right? That would either apply to administrators on any device, or complicate things between my own devices.

would i set it as the Authenticated Users group and that would ask for a username and pass to connect and then store a cert for future connections or something?

    :)

  3. Cannot access shared network drive

I could scream! so much time wasted on this stupid error, as if time is not precious enough!
It probably would work fine if I could see the other computer! But I cannot see the other computer!
