  1. My headset microphone is extremely quiet only on Windows 10

I have a Logitech G231 Prodigy headset and while the headphones work properly, the microphone does not

Other people can't hear me, and if i record myself talking normally (either with Audacity or the Windows default voice recorder) i can only BARELY hear anything if i put the volume all the way to the max (to the point that if i played music with that volume i would probably hear it from the other room) but i tried connecting the headset to my Galaxy S8 and there it works, it's still a bit on the quiet side, but definitely audible and fixable by boosting it just a little

I tried connecting this same headset to another Windows 10 computer that i have and the result is the same as my computer, but unfortunately i don't have any non-Windows 10 PC to confirm with 100% certainty if it's a Windows 10 problem

I tried reinstalling my audio drivers but that didn't work, i made sure that my mic volume is set to the max in the Windows settings and i even tried boosting it, but it only becomes audible at +30dB (the max) and it adds A LOT of noise so it's not a viable solution

My audio card is the integrated MSI B250M Mortar Motherboard one (i think the name of the card is Realtek ALC892) if that matters

My guess is that the problem is either a software problem or the Y splitter that i use to connect the headset to PCs, since i don't have to use that with my phone and it works there, but i'm not sure which one is it nor how to fix it

My USB Headset microphone is extremely quiet.

The setting that the website is suggesting to turn on is already turned on. And my headset is detected, it's just extremely quiet. I think it's the drivers to be honest, but since no drivers (from the manufacturer) exist, I don't know what to do.

This is the page I visited to look for the drivers. They don't exist there. I'm not sure if there's a way to replace the Microsoft driver with another generic driver, but that'd be nice.

My USB Headset microphone is extremely quiet.

I just purchased an ENHANCE Volatic Pro gaming headset from Micro Center, and the mic is way too quiet. I'm trying to use it for speech recognition, but it's not working because the software I'm using (Dragon 15) says the mic input is too quiet. I am quite
tech-savvy, but I'm stumped on this one. I have tried adjusting the boost levels, I tried using a third party software to boost the gain, etc. I looked and there's no drivers for this device, so it's using the default Microsoft USB driver. The speakers work
fine, it's just the microphone. I'm hoping someone can help me. Thanks in advance.

    Microphone extremely quiet

So for some odd reason, microphone input is really quiet.

I'm using Asus ROG Strix B350-F Gaming as my board so the microphone is being plugged into that. I've tried putting microphone boost and levels to 100% but the input is still really really quiet, if you're lucky you can hear a whisper if you're shouting down the mic.

I've tested the mic on other devices like my phone and it works fine but for some odd reason my desktop isn't being nice about it.

This is darn annoying and a massive inconvenience.

    Things I've tried -
Uninstalled realtek and re-installed the latest driver
Set microphone boost and levels to max
Tested with 'Disable all sound effects' on and off

I'm out of luck at this point and I'm not entirely sure where to go from this. I'd love to get this fixed so some advice/help would be appreciated, thank you.
