Windows 10: Windows 10 freezes only a few minutes after startup.

Hello. I have recently reset my laptop and everything was working fine until a large update needed to be installed. It got to 21% and suddenly ran into an issue which restarted my pc. Afterwards, while it was booting, an error saying "Media test failure check cable" and it kept restarting over and over. I forced shutdown then booted it up again, holding down F8. Instead of taking me to the recovery screen, it booted up the system. Now I thought it was fixed but I was wrong. Instead, after 15 minutes or so, the screen completely freezes, can't click anything, can't CTRL ALT DELETE. I waited for a few minutes to stop but it gave me a blue screen saying "Your PC ran into an issue and needs to restart". Afterwards it took me to the same screen I mentioned earlier and the computer kept restarting over and over again.

Windows 10 freezes randomly

I had already tried turning off fast startup, to no avail.
Will look at the list you provided, thanks. Hard to do when computer freezes on the Windows loading screen though. *Biggrin

Window 7 Freezes for 1 minute after startup

I am running Windows 7 Ultimate 64Bit with Asus Z97-C motherboard. My Windows freezes for one minute after startup and after one minutes, it runs nicely till next startup.
