How secure and private is windows 10 pro since the KB4551762 update for windows 10 pro...

    Hello,

My computer automatically installed the KB4551762 update on March 19th which was the patch released to repair a security bug that it accidentally disclosed during the release of its March 2020 patch. I also use AVG VPN.

I don't know if I am being unreasonable but I am still hesitant to use internet banking on this computer. Does anyone have any thoughts on that or up to the minute information about this recent issue?

    Cheers

    CJ

    :)

Microsoft to make Windows 10 updates mandatory

Well, at the moment at least, you can choose to defer upgrades. Under Settings > Windows Updates > Advanced options you need to check the box labeled "Defer upgrades". What does that do? Good question. The answer I've found might illuminate it to a degree.

    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-10/defer-upgrades-in-windows-10

I hear this only applies to Pro and Enterprise editions. But I can't verify that.
