  1. Occasional BSOD

Occasionally, when using my laptop an Acer Predator Helios 300 sometimes if it leans the wrong way or anything, it gets a blue screen of death, after which it doesn't automatically restart but needs a hard reboot and usually the computer starts with some difficulty getting the screen to turn on. The stop code changes sometimes but the most recent one says UNEXPECTED_KERNEL_MODE_TRAP. I have no idea what is causing this. The closest thing I have got to an idea for troubleshooting is that when the front right corner of the laptop is pressed a bit or any torsion is applied it has happened in the past.

    :)

Occasional BSOD in Windows 10, and wake from Sleep issues

    1. No recent changes of significance. I replaced an old external USB hard drive with a new one, but I was getting occasional BSODs before that change.

    2. The BSOD bug check string and bug check code code have included:

    DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE 0x0000009f

    DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL 0x000000d1

    3. Yes, I used Device Manager to try to update the drivers on virtually everything it lists, and everything was reported as being at latest revision.

    4. Yes, it's always up to date per Windows Update.

    Thanks.

Still getting the occasional BSOD. Latest today whilst browsing the Amazon site in Chrome browser.

    Any suggestions?

Windows randomly freezes, forcing a hard reset, and occasional BSOD: Hi I've been having this issue for the past month, and it seems to be getting worse.
