    Thank you for writing to Microsoft community forum.



    To have a better understanding of the issue, please help us with the following information:



    1. Are you trying to output Audio via HDMI/headset or to a speaker/headset connect to your HDMI device?


    Meanwhile, I would suggest you to update the audio driver and set HDMI Device
    as default device.

    Hi I seem to be having a unique problem with WMR where when I connect my Headset with a Display Port Adapter it displays Desktop on my Headset instead of launching the WMR Portal and displays Error Code 1-4 please reconnect your HDMI on the Monitor. I have
    a Vega 56 with only one HDMI port so had to use a DP to HDMI adapter it works well and Ive tried every combination (Native HDMI for Headset Display Port for Monitor), updated drivers etc...I have an Acer AH100 Ryzen 1400 Windows 10 Build 1909. Any help would
    be much appreciated thanks.
