Windows 10: KB4541335 - Can't Uninstall

When I try to Uninstall KB4541335 it will run for about 10 seconds and then say, "An error has occurred. Not all of the updates were successfully uninstalled.


i have run the Update Troubleshooter and it did not find any problems.


What should I do next to Uninstall this update?

How do you uninstall chipset drivers?

I'm installing a new mobo so I need to uninstall the intel 865g drivers to make way for the P35 drivers.

Can't find any uninstall options in add/remove programs and intel chipset inst listed in driver cleaner.

Any suggestions? *Confused

 

Unable to uninstall Windows 10 x64 bit KB4541335.

Greetings, I hate to do this but I am at a loss. I have been having the issues associated with KB4541335 of increased CPU temps, crashing, basically everything https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4541335/windows-10-update-kb4541335 in
this. It crashed so hard the last time, Windows reset itself, deleted my backups and my restore points. I'm not even kidding.
Windows lost its mind. So I'm trying to uninstall this update.

However I am getting the following error when going to uninstall the update:

An error has occurred. Not all of the updates were successfully uninstalled.

I have tried:

Administrator cmd:

running: sfc /scannow which went to 100% and did not find any integrity violations.

running wmic qfe list brief /format:table

and then: wusa /uninstall /kb:4541335

which gave me the error Installer encountered an error: 0x80070490 Element not found.

I went to event viewer and got this:

Windows update "Update for Microsoft Windows (KB4541335)" could not be uninstalled because of error 2147943568 "Element not found." (Command line: "wusa /uninstall /kb:4541335")

I attempted to also remove via DISM and got the following error:

An error occured trying to open - Package_1_for_KB4537572~31bf3856ad364e35~amd64~~10.0.1.3143. The specified package is not valid Windows package (even though I got this from CBS)

Error: 0x800f0805

The DISM log file can be found at C:\WINDOWS\Logs\DISM\dism.log

However, when I go to dism and look for that package, it's not there.

So I both have the corrupted windows update and yet don't have it at the same time. Help?
