    Diagnosing recent BSOD crashes

    Hi all,

I've experienced several BSOD blue screen of death crashes over the past couple of weeks.Articles I've read on the Microsoft websiteseem to indicate that the best way to diagnose this problem is to provide the minidump files located at C:\Windows\Minidump here.

    Here are the files: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1Jxmuq3UMAwNKnCoL9bIgFQWZXQHnRPe5

I believe the crashes are caused by a device driver; I tried enabling Driver Verifier as part of my troubleshooting process, and my laptop got stuck in a BSOD boot loop with the DRIVER_VERIFIER_DETECTED_VIOLATION error. I had to do a system restore to successfully reboot after that.

I'm proficient with computers, but a novice when it comes to troubleshooting this sort of issue. If I can provide any further useful information, or if there is more I can do on my own to troubleshoot, any guidance would be appreciated.

    :)

The steps suggested will enable you to collect the information needed to diagnose the cause of the crashes. You need to provide me with copies of these files if you want me to help you to resolve the BSOD errors.

Intermittent BSOD that I Can't Diagnose

I would suggest that you go to the
    Windows 10 Forums BSOD sub-forum
and post there. They are more equipped to help you.

    all games crash!

    I suggest you run rthdribl > http://www.daionet.gr.jp/~masa/archives/rthdribl_1_2.zip
Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
    What happens?
If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
What X1800XT model do you own exactly?
