Windows 10: Cant Uninstal App

Ok, I do apologize if this isn't allowed. But I can't find a soulution and I've been trying for days. And I'm at the end of my rope.

Back story: I started having issues with my windows 10 store game "Forza Horizon 4" on glitches and it coming back saying low streaming bandwidth, which ruled that it was a cpu issue or drive issue.

So, I thought maybe moving the file from my ssd to a hdd 2tb would fix the problem since I'm low on space in my ssd. Then I deleted the share link from windows drive C wich is my ssd with all my main files. Thats where the problem started. The game was still having issues, so I try to delete the folders, told me I didn't have access to delete. So I started fooling around with the security tab trying to gain access, needless to say I screwed things up.

Now, the game won't show up in the Uninstaller portion of control panel. It shows up in my list of apps after pressing start, but the icon is black and when I right click to uninstall it does nothing. Then when I go to windows store to Uninstall it, it acts like its not even installed, and when I click install it gives me some kind of error.

I've tried trouble shooting, scan and repair, forms, turning the laptop off and on, it gets to a point where I'm afraid I messed something up and I'm going to have to factory reset it and re-download everything from scratch.

So bottom line, I messed around in the security tab to gain access to a folder to move its location/delete, messed something up, now it won't Uninstall and the store doesn't recognize that its installed, but gives me a error when I click install. Other than factory reset, because I don't wanna loose all my data, is there any other way to fix the folder to work so I can uninstal it?

N Desk uninstal

Upon tryiing to uninstal N Desk so I could at least see the new split screen chat, my N8 tell me that N Desk can't be uninstalled. **bleep**? Any advice. I'm going through all the normal steps to uninstal a program. Pointers please

 

trouble with finding a downloaded app

I downloaded an app and the store shows that its downloaded but the app is nowhere to be found, it is not listed in the list of apps and now the app is taking a lot of space on the phone (because it is instaled) but can not be used or uninstaled because
i cant find it anywhere. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance ��

 

Mail app will not open on 10041.

This is the suggested solution below if you haven't already tried it.

In this Windows 10 build 10041, the Mail, Calendar, and People apps may be broken due to a licensing issue with the Store Beta. To get these apps working again, you need to follow these steps:

• Open powershell as administrator
• Run the command Get-appxprovisionedpackage –online | where-object {$_.packagename –like “*windowscommunicationsapps*”} | remove-appxprovisionedpackage –online
• Re-install Mail, People and Calendar from the Store (green tile)
