Windows 10: notepad privacy

Does Notepad scan the content of the writing you do with it?


I tried to ask the "privacy team" through the online form but got only a form letter in response.

I followed your suggestion but wasn't able to find Notepad listed on the startup. There are some listed as program but don't know which ones it could be.

Unable to open Notepad could be due to a disabled settings in the Privacy settings.

Please try the steps below on how to turn the "let apps run in the background"
on:

• Type Privacy settings in the search box and press Enter.
• On the left side of the page, select Background apps.
• Turn Let apps run in the background on.
• Restart your computer.
