  1. Scaling issue between monitors ?

How can I fix scaling issues between monitors of two different resolutions ? I've tried for example going into a programs properties, specifically the compatibility tab and changing the DPI settings which only has two options, but that doesn't fix the problem I'm having.

That problem is since I'm running a program which can present the taskbar on two monitors, the second monitor is not seeing the taskbar because of this scaling issue due to windows, the second problem is when the notifications from the action center show up on the primary monitor it's as if they are not adjusted correctly to the resolution for the primary monitor, they are extra huge removing part of the notification, this can cause any programs that I run not to see the menus for the particular program, the two sorta tie together.

    :)

  2. Scaling Issue With Extended Monitors

    Hi,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

I understand that you are facing scaling issues when you connect a 4K monitor to the PC. For more clarity on the issue, please respond to the questions below:

    1. What is the make and model of the PC?
    2. How the monitors are connected to the PC?
    3. What is the build version of Windows installed on the PC?
    4. Have you tried updating the display drivers?

Meanwhile, I would suggest you to refer the article

  3. MS Office and Skype scaling issue with display monitors

    Hi J,

The scaling issues with your display monitor can be caused by an outdated operating system. To further isolate the concern, we suggest that you check for the latest update for Windows by following these steps:

    • Click on Start or the Windows Logo on your taskbar.
    • Select Settings or the gear icon and click Updates & security.
    • Click on Check for updates.

If any updates are found, install it and wait for Windows to complete the update and then restart the device.

Let us know the result of your troubleshooting.

  4. Scaling issue between monitors ?

    Scaling Issue With Extended Monitors

Recently got a new 4K monitor. It's running at 4k with 150% (Recommended) Scaling. I want THIS monitor to be my main monitor. It is centered to my setup and is the MAIN monitor I will be using, etc, etc. My old 1080p monitor has a recommended scaling of
100%. This is what I had been using for years and is most comfortable for my eyes.

    My issue is:

Apps are blurry on the 1080p monitor; i.e. Apple Music is blurry.

The 4k monitor is just fine.

I can fix the blurriness by setting the scaling higher for the app itself in (app)>properties>calibration>DPI settings

I can fix the blurriness by setting my old 1080p monitor as my main monitor, and having windows fix the blurriness by turning that option on. This keeps the normal scaling and looks great. Only issue is that I want my Main monitor to be registered as the
Main monitor in windows settings so that all of my information and app work is prioritized there.

I can also fix the issue by setting both monitors to the same scaling, but that defeats the purpose of scaling. One is a huge 4k monitor and one is a 1080p I do not want massive text on one monitor and tiny text on the other. Rather ridiculous.

Why does it seem that the only fix I am looking for has to be done by first setting my old monitor as the main monitor? If I could keep my main monitor as my main monitor with the benefits of the blurriness and scaling being fixed then my question would
    be answered.

    Thanks for any help.
