Windows Update, remove MDM policies, and settings managed by organization notification.

Have a Windows 10 Pro PC which is not connected to a domain.

When go to Settings / Windows Update, see on the top "*Some settings are managed by your organization", and "View configured update policies". How can I get rid of this config?

When click on "View configured update policies", I see various policies are set on the device. All of which are type "Mobile Device Management". How can I get rid of these?

When go to Advanced Options from the Windows Update page I see "*Receive updates for other Microsoft products when you update Windows" grayed out, and set to OFF. Also "*Restart this device as soon as possible when a restart is required to install an update. Windows will be on and plugged in", is also grayed out and set to OFF.

This is all different from other PC's, please advise how this can be corrected. Thanks.

    :)

"Some settings are managed by your organization"

I'm trying to enable app notifications, but the slider is grayed out, with a message at the top of the settings pane saying "Some settings are managed by your organization."

    • I am not a member of any domain or network
    • The issue has persisted between an antivirus replacement and each of those antivirus programs being disabled
    • I've already tried setting telemetry to "enhanced" and to "full," as many people have suggested, but to no effect.
    • I also do not have the Group Policy Editor, as I am on Home edition, so I am unable to perform any of the fixes through that method.

    What do I do?
