    When my PC goes to sleep it plays a tune over and over until it is woke up. Why is it doing this and how can I make it stop?

    Alarm that works when the computer is sleeping

    Hi, you could use a scheduled task:

    or you could install a freeware clock alarm

    Set an alarm in Alarms, and it doesn't notify me.


    I've been having a problem with Alarms. Every time I set an alarm, it doesn't go off. One time, I set an alarm for 6:00pm and after reboot, it finally when off. Any suggestions?

    Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community. I understand the inconvenience caused to you and will help you solve the issue.

    I suggest you to follow the steps provided below and check if it helps.

    • Click on Start>Settings>System.
    • In the left navigation pane, click on Power & sleep.
    • In the right pane, select the time limit for the system to go to sleep from the drop down list.
