    Laptop won't detect or connect to any WiFi after restart


    My laptop has always connected to my home internet via WiFi, automatically, without issue. Today, I restarted my computer myself, but it seemed to be taking a long time. I finally got an error message saying "Your PC ran into a problem and needs to restart. We're just collecting some error info, and then we'll restart it for you." Underneath that it said "DRIVER POWER STATE FAILURE".


    So in the middle of my voluntary restart, the computer restarted again. When it finally finished and I was able to use my computer, I found there was no internet connection. Not only didn't my laptop connect to my WiFi automatically as usual, but when I went into network settings I had NO option for WiFi at all, and no networks were popping up. Network Discovery is turned on.


    My internet and WiFi are working just fine: I can connect to it using my phone, and I can still use the internet on my laptop or Playstation by using an ethernet cable. But my laptop is acting like WiFi doesn't even exist anymore. Any ideas?
