    How do I stop all scheduled tasks in Windows 10?

    Double-click the Task Scheduler icon on the taskbar.

    In the list of scheduled tasks, right-click Critical Windows Update, and then click Delete.

    On the Advanced menu, click Stop Using Task Scheduler.

    Quit Task Scheduler, and then restart your computer.

    • Disable the Scheduled Task - Does not stop it running

      -> Disabling a scheduled task will not stop it. You must either kill it with TaskKill.exe or by rebooting the machine.
    • Delete the Scheduled Task - Does not stop it running and it get's reinstalled next time Windows Updates.

      -> Create your own scheduled task that runs once each hour. It would use schtasks.exe to check if the offending task is active and disable it if necessary.
