Bluetooth will not reconnect to removed devices

I have a Logitech Bluetooth Mouse and Microsoft Surface BT keyboard.
I have them set up on my Dell with no issues.
Recently I needed to connect them to a different PC a surface. So I removed them from the devices screen and connected to the surface - no issues.
I have now tried to connect them to the Dell again but they will not connect just time out.
The Mouse should ask for a PIN 0000 and windows should display a 6 digit pin for me to type into the keyboard. This isn't happening.
I have tried removing the drivers, connecting via devices, and many other weird fixes with no luck.

BT device is intel 8265 Intel weren't much help

    Anyone have any ideas?

    All existing connections still work

    :)

  2. Bluetooth devices will not reconnect after paired

After the latest major update to windows 10, my Bluetooth headset and my Bluetooth keyboard, after pairing, will not reconnect after disconnected. These devices have always been able to reconnect for subsequent uses even after original windows 10 install.
After this latest update, they no longer automatically reconnect. They are both listed in the devices list but will not connect. I have to remove and repair every time. Thanks for any help.

    Hi Daniel,

Thank you for responding and updating us the status of this issue.

To help you to resolve the issue, I would appreciate if you could answer the following questions:

    1. Is the issue specific to particular or all the Bluetooth devices?

    2. Have you made any recent hardware or software changes to your computer prior to the issue?

    3. What is the make and model of the computer?

I suggest you to run the Hardware and Devices
troubleshooter and check if it helps.

    1. Type troubleshooting in the search bar.

    2. Select
    Troubleshooting.

    3. Select
View all on the top left corner.

    4. Click
    on Hardware and Devices.

    5. Follow the on-screen instructions to run the troubleshooter.

    6. Check if issue persists.

If the issue persists, I suggest you to uninstall and reinstall the Bluetooth driver.

    Step 1: Press
Windows Key + R on your desktop screen to go to run command box.

    Step 2: Type
    devmgmt.msc and press Enter.

    Step 3: Look for
Bluetooth driver, right-click and then click Uninstall/Remove Device.

Step 4: When you are prompted to confirm that you want to remove the device, click
    OK.

    Step 6:
    Restart the computer.

Step 7: Windows will automatically install the driver.

If the issue persists, I suggest you to download the latest drivers from the manufactures website.

Hope the information helps. Let us know if you need further assistance. We will be happy to help.
