Windows 10: RAM type is not displayed

Discus and support RAM type is not displayed in Windows 10 Customization to solve the problem; I checked my task manager in that under performance tab and memory option only the storage is visible and not the type of RAM.     RAM type is not displayed


    I checked my task manager in that under performance tab and memory option only the storage is visible and not the type of RAM. I have a 8 gb ddr4. Even in bios setup I can only see the storage and not the type.

    laptop model is Asus ROG STRIX G731GT-H7179T and its a brand new one.

    Is this problem something I have to worry about. Is it a major one or a glitch.

    That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

    At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

    To RAM or not to RAM...

    Hey genesis what hardware have you bought, you might be able to save on the ram and step up the rest of the hardware a little...

    Or you could go out on the town as suggested... *Big Grin RAM type is not displayed :D

    I suggest you to follow the below steps how to customize the display:

    • In the search box type settings.
    • Click on system option.
    • Then click on display option and then you can change it.
    • For more settings for display you can go for advance settings option.
