Windows 10: Windows Permission Issues w/ Store Not Being Usable

So a bit of background here if it helps at all I will go in sequence of what I have done from the beginning, to when I ATTEMPTED to fix this, but obviously to no avail.

1. Changed time/date
2. Broke a Windows Store App making it unable to launch properly
3. Tried to diagnose the issue but for some reason I don't have permissions to change files that are on MY PC *cough cough*
4. Attempted to get access to change these files
5. Windows Store and I'm assuming other things, didn't like this and everything broke.
6. Windows Store wouldn't launch
7. Tried doing the whole powershell uninstall and reinstall thing and still no launch
8. Tried "wsreset.exe" but said "Windows cannot access specified device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item"
8.5 Did try to use that regedit cmd thing I found floating around here before but that did nothing except brick windows and screwed up the Sys32 folder
9. Reset my PC keeping personal files and 6-8 happened again
10. Reset my PC removing everything and 6-8 happened again
11. I tried using the Media Creation Tool, but it says "This PC can't be upgraded to Windows 10" weird since I have Windows 10 installed, but heyo
wouldn't be windows without issues and "Your PC settings aren't supported yet on this version of Windows 10.....etc. etc."

12. .....well here I am.


I doubt anything will fix it at this point. If I had to get to this point, since I know what I'm doing for the most part, then I doubt there is much to save this. Which leave me questioning....why, just why, when I reset my Windows Install....it doesn't reset permissions? Either way, I really need help with this if there is anything I could possibly do.

Also, if you ask me to do something I have already tried that is not there because of it being a precursor step, don't be surprised when I quote the OP as a reply.

Permission issue

Presumably because TrustedInstaller is the owner (hence you need its permission), suggesting that img3.jpg was installed by Windows at some time.

Presumably that also means it can be uninstalled. How did you get it in the first place? Where is it located?

If you really want to delete it yourself, then taking ownership would seem a logical first step.

Hooray!!!! Thanks so much, you are a superstar. Issue resolved.

I thought the fact that "Administrators" were listed in the permissions meant that all Admins had access, but apparently not. Now I added my specific login account, it works fine.

Thanks so much for your help, these UAC things in Windows are quite confusing, I am not (entirely) stupid!!

 

Permission issues

Sorry for the delayed reply.

This may be caused by incorrect permissions on the files.

You can fix this using these steps:

• Open the properties of the main user profile folder where the files are located (such as Documents, Pictures, etc).
  
• Go to the Security tab and click Advanced.
• Check the box at the bottom of this window. It is labeled "Replace all child object permissions with inheritable permissions from this object" and then click Ok.
