  2. Some files still remain in $RECYCLE.BIN

Try to delete the Recycle Bin folder with these following commands as administrator. Let assume the drive letter is K:. Here are the steps:

    1. Take ownership: Takeown /F "K:\$RECYCLE.BIN" /R /D Y
    2. Change permission: Icacls "K:\$RECYCLE.BIN" /grant Everyone$Recycle.bin Folder? :(OI)(CI)(F) /T
    3. Remove system attributes: Attrib -R -S -H "K:\$RECYCLE.BIN" /S /D
    4. Delete folder: Rmdir /S /Q "K:\$RECYCLE.BIN"

Alternatively, combine those steps in a single batch file (.bat) and run it as administrator:

    Code:
    @echo off

    Takeown /F "K:\$RECYCLE.BIN" /R /D Y

    Icacls "K:\$RECYCLE.BIN" /grant Everyone:(OI)(CI)(F) /T

    Attrib -R -S -H "K:\$RECYCLE.BIN" /S /D

    Rmdir /S /Q "K:\$RECYCLE.BIN"

    pause

Then restart Explorer or log-out and re-login into your account.

  3. Corrupted $Recycle.bin

Hello i have problem i struggle with.

On my laptop , whenever i close my monitor, i have chance to get my trash.bin corrupted, which results with pop-up with dead buttons, after i log in on pc. The only way to continue work is to hard reset. There is small chance i get this popup before logging
, and then i can solve it. I do have double boot on my computer, becuase this problem is troublesome. I have disc C, and disk E which is other system (works).

    In $Recycle.bin i find:

    1. Recycle Bin (empty)
    2. S-1-5-18 (which i cant do anything on it) Its serial code as someone said.
    What ive tried:

Running in cmd (with administor permissions) command: rd /s /q C:\$Recycle.bin , but i have no permissions.

Redownloading Windows10 and installing it again(helped until first update i think).

I do not know what to do at this point. I can remove everything if its needed.

Also ill ask here , can i do something to hide separated disk part for ubuntu, or make it possible to transfer files? Its my working system now since w10 is failing my expectations whenever i have to discard my unsaved progress.
