Windows 10: My camera isn't working and some webpages seem to be not loaded after some updates

My Windows 10 has automatically updated so now I can't use my web camera - it says it's used by another app but no app is running and that's strange cause I didn't have such a problem yesterday.. I guess it's all because of some updates though I didn't push anything to update it


So I googled but I couldn't find a solution to this - I've updated the camera driver but it's not helped.


Also, this is strange to me but some webpages of my site are not loading in google chrome anymore. I checked it with another PC and it's ok but on my laptop, there's a mistake, I'm sure you can open it on yours - https://www.oxagile.com/services/software-testing/qa-consulting/ but I can't - can it be the consequence of Windows updates?.. I'm not sure but I can't find another reason


So what should I do to fix my camera and open all the webpages? Can I delete updates or smth?

Camera isn't working.

1) Fix Windows 10 Camera Not Working in Windows Settings

Some users may not know how to launch the laptop camera when they change to Windows 10 from its predecessors. In fact, it's easy to find the camera on the Start menu. But you may also see the "We need your permission" error after opening the Camera app. In
this case, you need to turn on the laptop camera via the Settings.

Step 1. Use Windows shortcut keys Win + I to launch the Settings.

Step 2. Go to the Privacy menu.

Step 3. Select the Camera option on the left side.

Step 4. On the right side, toggle the switch under the "Let apps use my camera hardware" to the ON position.

Step 5. Scroll down and turn on the apps that can access the camera.

Now back to the Camera app and you will find your image has appeared on the screen. This is an easy tutorial for those who fail to open camera on Windows 10 Creators Update/Fall Creators Update. If the laptop camera not working still gets on your nerves, or
if you see "We can't find your camera" error in the app, then go on reading the following content.

2) Enable Camera in Device Manager of Windows 10 Creators Update/Fall Creators Update

A disabled camera device can result in the Windows 10 camera not working issue. So to fix the problem and make the camera available on your Windows 10 Creators Update/Fall Creators Update laptop, you also need to enable the camera hardware device.

Step 1. Right-click the Start menu.

Step 2. Select the Device Manager.

Step 3. Expand the Imaging devices entry.

Step 4. If you find your camera device has a special mark on the icon, then you should right-click it and select the Enable device.

After that, the device list will refresh by itself and you can check the device in the Camera app to see if this has resolved the problem. If not, try the camera driver solution below.

3) Update Camera driver in Device Manager.

Start at the PC's Support Downloads webpage. Download and install the latest driver.

If no newer or different drivers to try, on Cam device Driver tab click Uninstall and restart PC to see if it works after reinstalling driver.

Hi, have you looked to see if there's a repair option - like this?

Virus caused my camera drivers to stop working and blocks some webpages.

I'm still not sure if I still have it, a friend connected a usb memory to my pc, after a while I noticed the firewall asking to block hqiie.exe and winlmefn.exe which sure as **** smell as malware to me, I blocked them and then noticed they were running
processes so I stopped them and deleted them from the temp folder, restarted to make sure it was gone and then saw my task manager was blocked, so I had to enable it from group policy, enabled defender to see if it could fix it and it was just trying to delete
files I already know are safe and my video card drivers for some reason... but nothing related to these files I saw previously, after scans and scans it said my system was clean, did a restart, again a few scans and it said I was secure, then I noticed my
camera wasn't working, went to device manager and somehow it had no driver, told it to update the driver and it says it found a driver online but couldn't install it, the device location seems odd to me its: 0000.001d.0007.004.000.000.000.000.000 and windows
thinks there's no driver for it, I directed it to winsxs and it said the 3rd party driver wasn't signed so it wont use it... then I went looking for help on bing and noticed all pages from

https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/ " are blocked, but only using IE, on edge they open fine, also on IE on my laptop they open normally, so it definitely is blocked here but only for IE, I couldn't find a firewall entry for it and I noticed my
firewall was completely off too, then I tried the camera on different USB ports, same result, tried on my laptop and it was working instantly, so the camera is fine.. so yea after writing this I realize I still got malware obviously... defender is useless,
what can I do to fix this? apart from what I described my pc seems to be working normally
