Windows 10: Windows failed factory reset now wont boot

I tried to factory reset my laptop but it failed now when i try to turn the laptop onto it goes to the fujitsu logo and then a black screen then goes back to logo in a continuous loop. How can i fix this?

How to factory reset Cisco 1700 Router

Hopefully I can help you here....its a very common thing to happen.


First, I take it you dont know the passwords for console access or telnet/ssh?

I will assume that these devices belong to you.

step 1. Plug a cisco console cable into a serial port on your pc
step 2. Plug other end into Cisco console port
step 3. Using hyperterm or putty or similar connect to the serial port
step 4. boot router, and make sure you clearly can see the output (this confirms you have good serial comms)
step 5. if this fails, adjust the comm port settings (9600, 8,1,n are the default)
step 6. now you have to do the only hard part...send the break command:

Break command list: Break Commands

Go down the list and match your OS and SW and try the sequence suggested.

If this fails several times do what I do: Install putty (free) and then to send a break so you can get into rommom just hit "ctrl-a b".

 

windows 10 factory reset failing

My kids grandparent recentently managed to put in a local password on my sons laptop while trying to enter a wifi pass (i have no idea how this can even happen)

i have been reading and the only way to reset a local password is to factory reset the machine which i have no problem with as all my kid uses it for is you tube an playing roblox

but when i try the factory reset option it gets to 38% then says it cant complete any further and it stops and then wont boot and i have to repair it with a windows boot usb i had to make on another laptp

can anyone suggest how i can make the laptop fully factory reset?

Windows 10 factory reset continues to fail. Now a Bigger Issue

So long story short, my boyfriend's computer is an acer with windows 10 installed. As of late it has been running excruciatingly slow, and after many failed attempts to find and fix the performance issues, he decided it would be best to just factory reset and remove everything. Both of us have done this before to different computers with no issue, but his laptop is proving to be a challenge.

The Problem:
Trying to reset it failed every time we tried, I have tried all of the suggestions I could find online to force it to reset and get around the failure message. Last night I tried one last time, by going through and uninstalling everything manually and then starting the factory reset process. It seemed to work, made it to at least 50% before we went to bed (took about 8 hours to get there) and at some point during the night the computer crashed.

NOW when we try to start the computer, it gives a blue screen and says Your laptop has crashed and needs a repair tool.

The Question:
What can I do to fix this new problem? AND still reset the darn thing.

It WAS a perfectly functional computer, a few years old, but was working perfectly until a few weeks ago. All virus scans came back clean, except avast which would crash before it could complete the scan. I greatly appreciate any help anyone has to offer.
