    How can I backup my files, I forgot my password


    I used the password in the begining when i was setting up my laptop and i used to login with my pin instead of password these all years and recently the account got signed out and i am not sure how i can back up my files without my password, there were no other sign in options, it is just asking me the password.

    I forgot my bios password- How I can reset it?

    Same here but I keep the text file on a separated drive with a backup copy on a USB stick and a hard copy in a binder on a book shelf. Hard to believe others don’t do something similar.

    I forgot my bios password- How I can reset it?

    Everybody is entitled to an opinion.. So lets not forget that... I forget my phone numbers, sometimes...
    And have a password list text file on my PC to help remind me of all my passwords... so if I lost that list - i'm sunk or in the same boat with yea...

    Skepticism implies doubt. There was no doubt. If people own and operate computers, they should not forget passwords. Period. No wiggle room. None.

    I respect Kari's right to make such statements.

    I will keep a paper backup copy of mine well secured. And tell my wife where she can find it. That's just me. I know I might forget.
