  1. Photos taking up most of CPU

    Hi,

You've been asked this before - how do I get rid of Microsoft Photos - but your advice on uninstalling it doesn't work. There was a command to copy and paste, which I did and Photos went from the Start list but still keeps appearing on Task Manager using up to 40% of the CPU. It's not my default app [I still use the much better old Photo Viewer - if only because it's crazy that you can't use the arrow keys to move to the next/previous pic if you're zoomed in with Photos], I don't use it, don't have any photos stored in it, it doesn't have access to any pics, and I keep turning it off but it quite randomly turns itself back on again. How do I stop it???

    :)

Windows explorer takes up most of CPU

    Hi,

Stored files and data may have caused the Windows Explorer to take up most spaces on your CPU. To correct this, we suggest that you follow these methods:

Method 1: Disk cleanup in Windows 10.

Method 2: Managing the Task Manager.

    • Open the Task Manager by pressing Ctrl+Alt+Delete.
    • Terminate explorer.exe.
    • Start a new explorer.exe.

Let us know if any of these methods worked.

Windows explorer takes up most of CPU

As i noted earlier, my computer is updated and the above build (KB4019472) was successfully installed on 10 May. The problem continues unabated. Windows Explorer is taking up 25-50% of CPU time and the fan is always on even though the computer is doing
    nothing.
