Windows 10: August Windows 10 Update - Word Docs Not Printing

Hi

The latest August update has just automatically updated and installed on my PC. Now whenever I try to print a Word document it only selects 'Print to File'. Excel documents and Thunderbird emails print perfectly well. Has anyone a solution? Thanks

Word no longer printing since August 2018

Since August 2018, MS Word does not print.... Vers. 2016 or 2003. If I make them a pdf, they print. Will not print as Word doc on network printer or on wired printer. I have uninstalled/re-installed printer and software, update drivers, cleared errors,
you name it...everything suggested in past posts on this topic. This seems to be a problem starting in August 2018 for many people. MS needs to look at whatever updates they did then.

Suggestions did not work. I problem lies with emailed documents which are in word. New word documents print.

The printer reads printing reports.

• Does the issue occur on the other user accounts as well?
• Did you make any changes to the system prior to this issue?
• Which version of Microsoft Office is installed on the computer?
• What is the error message you get while trying to print that word document?
• Is the issue specific to a particular word document?

I suggest you sign out from the current user account, restart the pc and sign in to the Microsoft account and check the status of the issue. Install all pending updates on the computer. Updates are additions to software that can help prevent or fix
problems, improve how your computer works, or enhance your computing experience.

To print the current document you can press Ctrl + P Keys. In the Print dialog box, choose the desired options.
