Windows 10: How do I transfer all my data to a different user on Windows 10?

I created a new user on my laptop, and I want to transfer all my data to it from the previous user. And with all my data, I mean ALL data. Settings, files, softwares, preferences... I want the new user to be the exact same copy of the other one. Is there a way I can do it? There's maybe a tool specifically to do it?

I understand your query related to transferring user data from one user account to another user account. Kindly follow the steps mentioned below to transfer the data.

1. Login to the new administrator account.
   
2. Press Windows + E keys to open
   File Explorer.
   
3. Now click on View tab and check the box
   Hidden items.
   
4. Navigate to the location C:\Users\Old_Username, where
   C is the drive that Windows is installed on, and Old_Username is the name of the profile you want to copy files from.
   
5. Copy all of the files and folders in this folder, except the following files:
   
   Ntuser.data
   
   Ntuser.dat.log
   
   Ntuser.ini
   
6. Now go to C:\Users\New_Username and
   Paste all the files that you have copied.
   

Once you transfer the user account data you can delete the user account that is not required.

Moving users and user data between Windows 10 PCs

Thank you for your message.

I suspect I mis-posed my question.

• I can't say the exact number of PCs. The number is limited but they are critical PCs.
• They are not connected to a Domain as they are members of a workgroup.
• The network is a LAN.

The question can be posed as: in Windows XP and up to Windows 8 there were tools to migrate user settings and data from a PC to a different one, like Windows Easy transfer (preferred) or USMT.

Are they available in Windows 10 as well?
