Windows 10: Black Screen

G'day,

I use Windows 10 for my Desk Top Computer.

The computer was fine this morning. When I stared it this afternoon it would not boot up. All I get after the Windows Logo is a black screen. This is before I can type my password. I tried login on and off until I received the Checking System message. I clicked on the Advance Setting to do a System Repair. It ran for some time and then received a message that it could not repair the problem. Each time I try to boot up the computer it gets to the Windows Logo and get that black screen and that it.

I would appreciate any help to get my computer up and running again.
