    For my personal desktop, I bought a new graphics card, but somehow it refuses to run on it. I'm following the exact setup guide, but it shows no indication of progress. They're brand new. I have also installed the drivers manually from the website for the same model, but so far nothing works.

    What is the make and model of your computer?

    The issue could be related to Display drivers then please try the steps provided to uninstall the
    Display Adapter from Device Manager, uninstall the device drivers from program list and then download the latest drivers from the manufacturer's website.



    Step 1:

    Uninstall the Device from Device Manager

    • Open Device Manager
    • Expand the Display Adapter section.
    • Find the Display card Driver.
    • Right click Display card Driver and select
      Uninstall.
    • Select the check box delete the driver software for this device.
    • Reboot the computer after uninstall process has finished.


    Step 2:

    Uninstall the Device Drivers from Program List in Control Panel

    • Click on start, select Control Panel
    • Now click on Programs and select Programs and Features.
    • Find the Display card Driver.
    • Right click Display card Driver and select
      Uninstall.
    • Reboot the computer after the uninstall process has finished.

    We appreciate your responses Fed. For addition troubleshooting steps, we suggest that you follow the steps below:

    • Uninstall all software and drivers of your video card; then, restart your computer.
    • Once your computer restarted, connect your TV (Windows will install generic drivers).
    • Install all latest software and drivers of your video card, and check if it works.

    If the issue still persists, go to Display Settings, and follow the steps below:

    • Click Advance display settings.
    • Under Related settings, select Display adapter properties.
    • A pop-up box will appear. Click List All Modes; then, choose the specific mode that you are looking for.
    • Hit OK, and check if it works.
