Windows 10: Entry point not found while launching the game

The issue happen when I launch the Crysis Remastered game. The game has downloaded and launch through the Epic game store and launcher.


The error pop-up show as below.

The procedure entry point vkBindBufferMemory2 could not be located in the dynamic link library C:\Program Files\Epic Games\CrysisRemastered\Bin64\CrysisRemastered.exe.


Please help to investigate the issue. I have contacted the Epic game and they said it might cause of the window error.

I would suggest you to uninstall the game and install it in compatibility mode and check if the issue occurs or not.

To install the game in compatibility mode, I would suggest you to follow these steps.

a. Right-click on the setup file and select “Properties”.

c. Select “Compatibility” Tab.

d. Place a check mark next to “Run this program in Compatibility mode” and
select Windows 8.1 or Windows 7 from the drop down list.

e. Let the game install and then check the functionality.
