Windows 10: Change keyboard to QWERTY 25 Sept 2020

Hi All


I just had a new SSD hard drive installed on my ASUS after the latest early August microsoft update stuffed up my computer entirely.


Recently I'd bought a new dell computer which when I went to type certain symbols such as ", and other things, it wouldn't work properly. I have to press " twice and when I do, the first time nothing happens then it brings up to apostrophes and if I click on other things all sorts of weird symbols come up.


Anyway dell support changed some setting so it was using the QWERTY keyboard and everything is working fine on it now.


So after I got my ASUS back with it's new SSD, my keyboard is doing the same thing as the DELL was but I cannot see how to change the setting to make sure it is using QWERTY.


I have been in to Language and Keyboard but cannot see the setting that I saw the DELL support change to right things on the dell keyboard.


Anyone know how to do this and can give me simple step by step instructions to correct this setting?

Unable to install Traditional Chinese Qwerty keyboard

Hi there,



I have a Nokia 1020 and I cannot locate the Traditional Chinese Qwerty keyboard to install. I did manage to locate the Simplefied Chinese Qwerty keyboard, however that is not what I was looking for. I have been researching on the past posts and forums and
tried a few methods suggested and so far nothing worked. I have tried changing the region / area to Taiwan and language to Traditional Chinese, but still unable to locate the keyboard required. I have also noticed that a lot of people were posting that they have returned the
phone due to this keyboard being missing. Please advise if there are other steps that I can take in order to use the Traditional Chinese Qwerty keyboard.

Keyboard layout on Windows 10 lock screen keeps changing to Czech-Qwerty

When machine is restarted or when some users log out, the keyboard layout on login screen is Czech (which is what is want). But in some cases when user logs out or every time when machine locks itself
after a while sitting on login prompt, the keyboard layout switches to Czech-Qwerty (which I don’t want).

The Czech-Qwerty layout was chosen in installation process. Later I changed settings for “Welcome screen and system accounts” and “New user accounts” to Czech.

They are 3 shared PCs in conference rooms, which have GPO for not showing last signed user.

What I already tried:

• Remove PC from domain so there are no GPOs applied.
• Search registry for Czech-Qwerty keyboard layout ID – no found (only in list of all layouts)
  

Are there any other settings which i can try to fix this problem? I really don’t want to reinstall all three of them just because of keyboard layout on login screen.
